Adult Mountain Bike Lessons
Private or small group lessons for adults of any gender (18+)
Goals
Our goal with every mountain bike lesson is to get you feeling more strong and confident on your bike. We do that by creating a safe space to learn and meeting you exactly where your at, skills-wise.
Our philosophy is that deliberate practice (sessioning) and lots of repetitions helps dial in skills. We want you on your bike as much as possible during the lesson! We’ll utilize video to capture your body position and mechanics and will spend time reviewing that during the session to maximize your learning.
The Details…
What is the minimum age for an adult lesson?
Adult lessons are for those 18 years of age and older.
How long are lessons?
Lesson options are 2 hours, 3 hours, 4 hours, or full-day (two 3-4 hour sessions with a mid-day break). A one hour lesson option is available at the Victor Bike Park to maximize learning time.
What skills can we work on?
Lessons are customized to what you want to learn.
Examples of skills are: body position, braking, trail vision, dismounting the bike, shifting, cornering, technical climbing, technical descending, drops, jumps, wheel lifts, rolldowns, and trackstands.
After you choose what you want to work on, we’ll pick the best trail or bike park location to learn and progress those specific skills.
What happens after I click the “Book a lesson” button?
Once you click the button below, you’ll answer a pre-lesson info questionnaire. We’ll get an email with all of this info and your date options. Then we’ll check our calendar. If you have flexibility with your dates & times, that is super helpful for us to know. We’re a small outfit and we want to do our best to be able to accommodate your schedule! Once we can confirm our availability, we’ll get in touch with you to dial in the logistics and any gear needs and send you an invoice to hold your reservation/pay for your lesson.
